Creative Technology takes 5 years to sue Apple over the ipod. Sounds legitimate
already. It's another frivolous lawsuit simply trying to garner money from someone
being more successful than themselves. After five years, we are sure their
concern is the infringement and ipods must cease sales, not trying to get a chunk
of unearned money for having an inferior product. Below is their second strategy
when this one fails. We have uncovered a Creative Technology internal, top
secret memo from the company.
To all board members, if we cannot squeak by a judge and receive a substantial
award from the court we do not deserve, but are trying so diligently to keep
our stock holders happy, we have a phase two plan for garnering money from Apple
for having a better mp3 player than us. We will purchase a Mac Mini and like so
many other successful times this scam has been attempted, we are going to find a
severed finger in the dvd tray. Unfortunately we will need everyone's attendance
for our next board meeting to democratically appoint the board member that will
have to be involuntarily volunteered to furnish us with the severed digit. We
will reach into Apple's deep pockets one way or another and it is what our share
holders expect and will make them proud to be with us for our inferior products.
We received this memo only after our source, who wishes to be kept anonymous, but
we will refer to him as lefty, wasn't happy with his company's decision to go
after Apple so aggressively.
