With an update to the iPod Nano, many users were left with the update not
allowing them to connect to the iTunes store. Some have spent hours online to
try to fix the problem Apple created with their update and others called Apple
and used up their support call with Apple. Apple is really getting better at
pulling Microsoft antics and are expected to release another update that will
force users to fix their iPod issue again and pay Apple to be talked through the
issue that Apple created. Apple continues to see that Microsoft's financial
success is by screwing their customers.
With more options becoming available to PC users to get digital music, Apple is
picking the perfect time to screw over their PC friendly iPod customers, to
insure Apple's marketshare stays limited in everything they do, suffering from
success anxiety. After a few more updates, and paying Apple more money, on the heels
of Steve Jobs' mentioning that people should buy a new iPod every year, they want to
insure it isn't just for the new design, software updates or upgraded hardware.
They just want the added money, so updates will check the activation date of the
device and every device that is a year and a day past the start of their warranty
date will be gleefully self destructed by the Apple's update to keep the money
flowing into Apple's doors.
